PM Kisan Nidhi: Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Yavatmal, Maharashtra to distribute the 16th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers.
This scheme aims to support farmers by depositing around Rs 21 thousand crore directly into their bank accounts. The distribution event will take place in Yavatmal, where PM Modi will oversee the transfer of installment funds to farmers’ accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The previous installment, the 15th, was released on November 15, 2023. Chief Minister Vishwanath will facilitate the deposit of approximately Rs 21 thousand crore into eligible farmers’ bank accounts today. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the Central Government’s significant initiatives for farmers, providing them with Rs 2,000 installments three times a year.
To ensure eligibility, farmers must link their Aadhaar cards with their bank accounts and undergo land verification. Every farmer enrolled in the scheme must complete these tasks.
Additionally, farmers must fill out the application form accurately, ensuring correct details such as name, Aadhaar number, and bank information to avoid any issues in receiving installments.
